SPA GUERLAIN, Cheval Blanc St-Tropez.
Few years ago, I made a large mural composition of Orchids for the Spa Guerlain at Cheval Blanc Randheli ( Maldives ) and big Orchids for the each Cure Rooms.
This time, the idea what to animate 3 glass windows at the Spa Guerlain’s entrance in St-Tropez.
I chose to make 3 sculptures in pure porcelain - raw and enameled - with 2 designs: 1 central flower built as a puzzle and 2 smallest ones made in one piece.
The supports in brushed steel are the work of the jewelry artist Karl Mazlo.
To perfect the visual of these stylized orchids 3 Root discs are installed under the tablets that support the sculptures.
